The Houseboat

The houseboat has approx. 250 square feet of interior living space with room for storage below. We have large decks, a floating patio, vistas of Mt. Tamalpaias and Richardson Bay. More details below.

Furnished with built-in and convertable furniture:
• Padded platform (sleeps 2) which converts to a dining booth (seats 6).
• Large built-in desk
• Fully functional kitchen and bathroom

The Layout of the Houseboat

The houseboat is a wooden-hull landing craft converted into a houseboat. The rectangular "box" below the boat is a 40ft long concrete floating barge. The living space is a studio-type space sutible for one or two people.


Houseboat Community
Here are a few photos of the neighboring houseboats. Most of the houseboats were originally built in the 70's, many are painted & decorated. They are a poular subject for photographers artists, and are visited by travelers from around the world.
